In this 4-hour workshop, you’ll get to explore a powerful combination: Biodynamic Breathwork and Shibari.
Both practices are very body oriented – breath, attention, safety and boundaries all come together to bring you deeper into yourself. You can start to feel more grounded, more awake in your body and more present in the here and now. From there, you can choose to explore connection with others. What does it mean to touch – or be touched – from a place of presence? What do you need to feel safe? How can your breath help you stay present and connected to yourself?

We will start with a 1-hour Biodynamic Breathwork journey. Accompanied by shamanic drum and music, you can arrive in your body and allow whatever wants to move through you – to move through you. You’ll deepen connection to your breath and to your emotional body. Breathwork brings different gifts every time it’s practiced – so you can go however deep you are ready to go. Facilitators are present to hold you and support you.
After this, we have the whole evening to explore Shibari. This is done in pairs, but if you’re uncomfortable, self-tying is also an option. There will be plenty demonstration and you will be guided throughout the whole evening. While Shibari may have erotic undertones, this workshop focuses on practicing embodied connection. You’ll be invited to stay in connection with yourself and your partner – your breath guiding and supporting you. It can still be an exciting experience, while also anchoring you in yourself, bringing confidence and deeper self-awareness.
The whole workshop is beginner-friendly. Don’t be afraid if it’s your first time doing breathwork or Shibari. We got you. ๐ Important to note – underwear stays on.

๐ The workshop starts at 18:30. Doors open at 18:15, so please come a bit early to settle in. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to join after 18:30, as this may disturb the other participants.
๐งก Yoga mats, cushions and blankets are all provided. You can always bring extra clothes/socks for even more comfort ๐
๐งก There will be tea and some small snacks
๐งก No Shibari ropes? No problem. Just let us know if you’ll need extra ropes by buying the free ticket ‘I need ropes!’. It’s also possible to buy the ropes after the workshop, so you can continue exploring at home.

The workshop is led by Merja Kallunki and co-facilitated by Anna van der Duin (Anima Brava).
Based in Finland, Merja is a breathwork and bodywork practitioner specialized in trauma-informed somatic work. She is trained in Holotropic Breathwork, Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release, and Myofascial Energetic Release Bodywork. Most recently, sheโs been exploring the somatic dimensions of Shibari.
Merja has Sรกmi heritage, and her deep connection with nature is a vital source of grounding and inspiration in her work. Learn more at merjakallunki.fi.

By consciously connecting to your breath you can learn to navigate your mental state with more ease, process stuck emotions and release tension in the body. Microdosing, like breathwork, can help bring awareness to what is present.
We combine breathwork with a (optional) microdose of our homegrown sacred stones to amplify the experience of both.
