Welcome to Lionsgate: Return to Self.

Every year on the 8th of August, the Lionsgate Portal offers a powerful invitation to pause, reconnect and remember who you truly are beneath the conditioning, expectations and roles you’ve learned to carry. It is a portal of expansion, alignment and heart-centred living: a moment to return to your own essence.

This ceremony is an invitation to come home to your Self.

To remember your essence and reconnect with your heart.

To listen to the wisdom of your body and give your Self permission to fully experience the truth of who you are.

This ceremony is not only about letting go. It is also about allowing your authentic life force to move freely again.

Together we will create a supported and sacred space where ceremonial cacao, a gentle microdose, sacred aroma frequencies, breath, music, movement and intuitive energy- & bodywork come together to support your journey inward. To become more of Self, to remember the essence that has always been within you.

Throughout the afternoon we will work with the Spirit of Mother Cacao, the wisdom of sacred plant medicines, reiki and Kundalini energy and the innate intelligence of your own body. Rather than seeking answers outside yourself, this experience is about awakening the wisdom, intuition and life force that already lives within you.
Ceremonial cacao has been honoured for centuries throughout Central and South America as a medicine of the heart. She gently softens protective layers, increases circulation, supports emotional openness and deepens our connection with ourselves, Mother Earth and the unseen realms. During this ceremony we will most likely share lovingly handcrafted Cambodian cacao, prepared with deep intention and devotion.

For those who feel called, we also offer an optional carefully guided micro-dose to deepen presence, awareness and connection with the body.

Sacred aroma frequencies will accompany our journey, intuitively chosen to support the collective energy of the group. These pure plant essences help clear stagnant energy, harmonise the nervous system and invite greater coherence within the body, mind and energetic field.

Alongside these sacred medicines, we will guide you through a deeply embodied experience. Through conscious breath, nervous system regulation, intuitive energy- & bodywork and space for authentic expression, we invite the body to release what it no longer needs to hold and step into the Self that wants to become.
So often we have learned to suppress emotions, silence our voice, disconnect from our body or make ourselves smaller in order to feel safe, loved or accepted. Over time this can disconnect us from our natural vitality and authentic expression.

This ceremony offers a space to gently soften those protective layers. To feel what wants to be felt. To release what is ready to move. And to express what has long been waiting to be seen.
That expression may arise through breath, movement, sound, tears, laughter, stillness or words. There is no right way. Your body already knows.

Our intention is not to create dependence on ceremony or facilitators, but to help you reconnect with your own inner guidance and your own healing intelligence. To remember that everything you seek already exists within you.

Meet your Guides:
♡ Joyce Wouters-Brust @joyces_hearth is a seasoned energetic bodyworker with over 20 years of experience. Based in Ireland and originally from the Netherlands, she brings a grounded, warm and vibrant presence shaped by her Dutch, Indonesian and Irish roots. Drawing from Jungian and archetypal shadow work, plant medicine, and breath-, body- and energy work, Joyce will intuitively guide participants through de-armouring and energetic bodywork, creating a supported space for release, remembrance and authentic expression.

♡ Kim Ruwa a.k.a. @kimruwamedicinewoman is based in Amsterdam, deeply passionate about ceremonial cacao, plant medicines and she is a total fairy goddess queen that works with the voice, instruments, aromatherapy, Reiki, dragon energy and so much more. She is always exploring new, fun and transformative ways of combining the heart-medicine cacao with other modalities. I am sooo excited to be co-hosting this life-changing event with Joyce, curious to see who will join 😉

To prepare for ceremony please bring:
• A journal and pen
• A bottle of water
• Something meaningful for the altar (optional)
• An eye mask
• Comfortable layered clothing
• Any instrument you would like to share (optional)

We recommend:
• Eating only a light meal beforehand or fasting if this feels supportive.
• Avoiding alcohol, recreational drugs, caffeine and dairy the evening before and the day of the ceremony.
• Taking some quiet time in nature to connect with your intention before arriving.

No previous experience with cacao, micro-dosing or ceremony is needed. Everyone is welcome.
