You are warmly invited to join us for a series of shamanic workshops and ceremonies with teacher, healer, and author Itzhak Beery from New York. This will be our third gathering in the Netherlands, as we continue to cultivate a beautiful community of like-minded individuals, exploring shamanic earth-based wisdom and medicine ways that support us in our personal growth in service to others.

Itzhak is truly a one-of-a-kind shaman — an elder, master, and storyteller — who lovingly and generously shares his energy, heart, and wisdom through a grounded and down-to-earth teaching style, shaped by decades of lived experience. Since 1995, he has been bridging the spiritual and practical wisdom entrusted to him by his Indigenous and Western teachers. He was initiated by his Kichwa teacher in Ecuador and by an Amazonian Kanamari Pajè in Brazil, amongst others. He is also the founder of ShamanPortal.org, the Andes Summit, and The New York Shamanic Circle.

Join us for our teaching day workshops, where we will explore our inner blueprint and life purpose through Shamanic Palm Reading and our Sacred Garden of the Soul as Pathways for Transformation, as well as participate in a Sacred Guayusa Ceremony! Come be inspired, nourish yourself, and enrich your practice with powerful approaches you can integrate into your life and healing work. No prior shamanic training is required to enter this work. Only curiosity and a willingness to explore are needed.

SHAMANIC PALM WISDOM: FOUNDATIONAL WORKSHOP
THURSDAY 14 MAY 2026 | 11 AM – 5 PM | Kokopelli in Amsterdam | 225 euros

Palm reading is one of humanity’s oldest ways of understanding the story carried within the body. The lines, textures, colors, and shapes of the hands are not random — they reflect how we meet life, how we relate to others, and how we carry our purpose.

In the Andes, shamans have long used the palm as a diagnostic and counseling tool. Not to predict fate, but to reveal tendencies, strengths, challenges, and the deeper currents shaping a person’s path. The hand becomes a living map — one that helps guide decisions, clarify emotional patterns, and restore direction.

Some traditions hold that the patterns of the palm begin to form when the nervous system is created — around the fourth or fifth month before birth — and are shaped by the incarnating soul. In this view, the hand carries a kind of blueprint: not of destiny, but of potential.

In this in-person foundation workshop, Itzhak brings over two decades of experience reading hands across cultures and continents. He offers a grounded introduction to Shamanic Palm Wisdom as a tool for self-understanding and compassionate guidance of others. Together, we will explore how the hand reflects life purpose, character, emotional patterns, and creative potential.

You will learn how to observe and interpret:
– The four elemental hand types – Earth, Fire, Water, and Air.
– The meaning of the Sun and Moon mounds.
– What the fingers reveal about communication, emotion, logic, authority, and vitality.
– The major lines and how they express life direction and resilience.
– The role of skin tone and texture.
– The difference between the receptive and active hands.
– Additional markings that speak to relationships, love, creativity, and expression.

THE NIGHT WATCHMAN: AMAZONIAN GUAYUSA TEA CEREMONY WITH RAPÉ
THURSDAY 14 MAY 2026 | 6:00 – 9:30 PM | Kokopelli in Amsterdam | 100 euros
Step into a magical evening of vision and connection with Itzhak as we journey with Guayusa dream tea, awakening our senses to the mystery of the night and our future. This shamanic gathering invites you to explore dreamtime and expand awareness through the sacred Guayusa tea ceremony. With Icaro medicine songs and heartfelt intention, we will honor the spirit of Guayusa, creating a warm space for insight and inspiration. As we sip this tea, we will relax into deep stillness, opening the door to spirit guides and new visions.

Guayusa, a cousin of yerba maté and green tea, offers antioxidants and gentle caffeine for clarity without restlessness. It also contains theobromine, the blissful heart-opener found in chocolate, and L-theanine for calm focus and harmony. Guayusa quiets the mind, guiding us into deep meditative states where intuition and vision flourish — without hallucinatory effects.

THE SACRED GARDEN: A SHAMANIC SOUL JOURNEY TO RE-SHAPE OUR WORLD
SUNDAY 17 MAY 2026 | 2 PM – 8 PM | Kokopelli in Amsterdam | 225 euros

Discovering our Sacred Garden is a journey of awakening. It is a path that invites us into direct relationship with our inner landscape and the unseen realms — not as an abstraction, but as lived experience. Through this connection, transformation becomes possible.

Shamanic wisdom teaches that the world is, in many ways, shaped by how we dream it. Our inner landscape informs the outer reality we inhabit. When we change the inner terrain, the outer world begins to respond.

With the guidance of spirit allies, power animals, and the support of creative imagination, the Sacred Garden becomes a safe and accessible way to expand awareness and gently shift consciousness. Within this garden, we discover a place of empowerment and healing — emotional, psychological, and spiritual. The garden becomes a gateway to deeper layers of the inner world, revealing how our internal conditions are reflected in symbolic form.

Everything in the garden holds meaning. Each element mirrors an aspect of our lives. By learning to communicate with what we encounter there, we gain insight and clarity. When we tend to the garden — removing, planting, restoring, or reshaping — we are also tending to ourselves. As the garden changes, so too does our lived experience.
